Welcome to New Brunswick

This morning we got up and on the road early. The trip from Quebec City to Woodstock New Brunswick was a 5 hour journey, a bit over my 4 hour limit.  Barb has cottage friends who live in Woodstock so we promised to drop in to say hello.

The trip did not offer too much in the way of scenery.

We did however stop when we got into the province to have a lunch break.

Lillie's daddy decorated our van on Saturday night at our wedding.  We removed the balloons and streamers on Sunday but I left the white roses, six on the top of the van and one on our trailer hitch. As of today we only have four of them left.  The back window still looks like this, since we have been blessed with no rain.
Now at least once per day on the road, someone will honk their horn as they pass. Scares the crap out of me as I drive, since I'm worried that I've cut someone off.  Barb won't let me clean the back window!!  Maybe we'll get a brief shower soon so that I can calm down while I'm behind the wheel.

We visited with Barb's friend Donna who made a lovely home cooked dinner for us. The home of her and her husband is very nice, overlooking the St. John river.

Thank you Donna for a great afternoon / evening.

Tomorrow we continue on to Moncton to explore this area.

    1. No we have both done this hill in the past separately. We'll see what else we can find, maybe a day at the beach if it is warm enough
